Would it be weird if we put pictures of this session in our house? We are seriously in love with the shots of these two on a row boat and at a sweet picnic at the Lafayette Reservoir! We expected adorable fish and birds to show up and start singing “Kiss the Girl” from The Little Mermaid. Ok, maybe Paul and I were singing that!
We had no idea the Lafayette Reservoir was so perfect for engagement sessions! There are so many spots for photo ops. There’s a ton of oak trees and wooded areas and then the blue of the reservoir provides the perfect backdrop (especially in one of the rowboats) for a session. We were so inspired by the location, the props Lisa and Brian brought with them, and of course, the couple! Lisa and Brian were so romantic with each other, we can’t even! Especially when he serenaded her with his mandolin and ukelele.
We’re getting so excited for wedding season that’s right around the corner!
