Chere & Michael’s Wedding at the Blackhawk Auto Museum

We are so happy for these two! Chere and Michael had such a lovely wedding and such a fun reception! They had two different locations for their ceremony and their reception. Their wedding was at the First Lutheran Church in Concord and their Reception was at the Blackhawk Auto Museum. We loved their bright colors of different shades of purple, fuchsias and a dash of orange- it made everything so vibrant and colorful- which was perfect for a summer wedding!

They combined American and Guyana traditions to honor each of their family’s heritages. We love how they incorporated their family into their wedding day! The Mother of the Bride made them a special Guyana cake that was frosted by Marian Sweets and they also had a family friend make custom shampoo, lotion and conditioner favors for all their guests! The Father of the Bride even did a special reading at their Ceremony!

And the Reception venue at the Blackhawk Auto Museum was so epic! Polished black floors and black walls and ceilings with spotlights on vintage cars. They set up the tables surrounding the dance floor and had a special scroll work pattern displayed through a GOBO light shinning down on the dance floor! It felt like something right out of the 1920 era!
