These two are seriously the cutest! It was a perfect September day for their wedding at the Pleasant Hill Community Center. These two combined their love of musical theatre and music with fun details! Instead of tossing rice after the ceremony ended, they made sheet music cups that held rose petals that the guests could throw! Such a cute idea! For their program, they created Broadway inspired playbills and their guest book was a guitar that their guests could sign. But that’s not all… their bridesmaids surprised them by singing their toast! And they had the audience in stitches! Later in the night, Brian and Lisa performed a duet together with Brian on guitar and both of them singing. It was a swinging good time!
But weddings are not without some unexpected surprises. One of their lovely bridesmaids had a zipper emergency and both Paul and I sewed her back into her dress! Thank goodness for travel sewing kits! That’s why we always come prepared with an emergency kit for unexpected surprises!
Their venue at the Pleasant Hill Community Center was so sweet and intimate. They had an outdoor ceremony in front of a charming gazebo (that was giving off serious Stars Hallow vibes!) with a family friend who officiated their wedding. There was so much lovely greenery and soft rolling hills right near their ceremony site that was perfect for their formals. We even went across the street and used a business park that had a dreamy pond and stream! For their reception, they went in to the community center hall and had a big party with their family and friends!
One of the things we really loved was how they had so many special things that were uniquely them! They put their heart and soul into their wedding and their love for each other just shone through every aspect of the day! We love these two and are so happy for them!
