2017 was a year filled with so many amazing opportunities. One such opportunity was being offered the chance to shoot for a stylized shoot for Ceremony Magazine. We got to shoot at one of our favorite locations, the Gardens at Heather Farm and had the chance to work with some really talented people in the industry. It was pale blue and delicate details inspired shoot that was brought together by Sweetness and Light Florals, A Monique Affair, Classic Party Rentals, The Gardens at Heather Farm and Ceremony Magazine. It was such a fun experience to help create a vision and capture it with our cameras. We especially loved the details that were selected for the shoot such as a donut pyramid instead of a cake, a metallic welcome sign and silk ribbons and vintage candle sticks and a serving tray for the invitations.
It was a crazy hot day and all of us tried to find what shade there was at high noon. We even had to bring out umbrellas to make our own shade! It’s definitely a crazy journey behind the scenes and doesn’t always feel glamorous in the moment. But it was 100% worth it! And to our surprise, not only did the images get a full spread in the magazine, but one of the shots even made the cover of the 2018 Spring/Summer edition of the magazine. This blew us away! It was our very first magazine cover and we are beyond grateful and thrilled to have been included in the session! Having one of our images on the cover of a wedding magazine has been one of our bucket list goals and we still can’t believe we can check that off our list! Onwards and upwards!
