One of our absolute favorite types of events (besides weddings) are Sangeet nights. For those who are unfamiliar with the Indian tradition of a Sangeet night: it is a music and dance night before the wedding with lots of performances and celebration with friends and both sides of the family! Friends and relatives performed choreographed dances and musical acts to celebrate the upcoming nuptials. It is so much fun!
Muskan and AJ celebrated their Sangeet night at the India Community Center in Milpitas last week in a gorgeous and fun-filled evening. They transformed the inside of the center with brightly colored swaths of fabric, floating candles, marigold flower chains, and lovely lanterns. The colors didn’t stop there! All the guests were dressed in a rainbow of colors. Muskan and AJ looked fabulous in the colors they picked out. AJ’s dark blue outfit complemented Muskan’s red, gold and multi-hued sari perfectly!
It was a lovely evening and we are so excited for Muskan and AJ as they take their next steps together as husband and wife!
