Steph & Jeff’s Theatrical Wedding At The Secret Gardens

Last weekend, Paul and I shot an incredibly special wedding. Our dear friends, Steph and Jeff, were married at the Secret Gardens in Bodega Bay. Not only did we have the honor of photographing the wedding, but Paul was also the Man of Honor for his best friend, Steph.

For the wedding, Steph and Jeff chose the magical Secret Gardens which is a hidden gem in the sleepy town of Bodega Bay. Steph and Jeff met and fell in love through theatre and they incorporated the theatre and their mutual love of “The Wizard Of Oz” into their wedding in one of the most over the top musical weddings we’ve ever seen. Instead of table numbers, they used photos from all the shows that they have performed in and they decorated the venue with quotes from their favorite shows. They even had a red curtain backdrop behind them as they were married. For their grand entrance into their reception, the bride & groom and their bridal party performed a hilarious choreographed rendition of ” Comedy Tonight” from the Broadway musical Something Funny Happened On The Way To The Forum. The special performances continued into the night with numbers from fellow singers, actors, and guitarists.

We are so excited for the two of them as they start the next chapter of their lives together! Congrats, Steph & Jeff!!
