All this rain has been crazy lately but that didn’t keep these two from having a blast at their engagement session! It was a cloudy springtime afternoon with Alisia and Jeremy down at the Martinez Shoreline. This is such a magical spot and I had completely forgotten about it until Alisia suggested it for their session. I’m so glad that she did! The two of them used to visit the shoreline when they were dating so this place was extra special for them.
Even though it had been a little rainy and a little muddy, it was still lovely out there. The park looked like a place out of Ireland rather than California. It had so many hidden gems such as a group of willow trees and several bridges hidden away in tall golden grasses. It was the perfect location for these two and really fit their fun personalities!
I had such an amazing time getting to know them a little bit better during their session. They told me more about their wedding and all the planning that is going into their special day. I am even more excited for their big day later this year! It was also fun to hear about how they met and fell in love. These two have been together since high school and Jeremy even got her a promise ring back in the day. She even brought the converse shoes that she had when they first started dating which she wore with her second outfit. It was such a sweet and sentimental item and I’m so glad that I got to photograph the two of them at a place that means so much to them!
