Love was in full bloom at Samantha & Brian’s engagement session! The Gardens at Heather Farm in Walnut Creek was the perfect backdrop for their portraits, especially with all the dreamy blooming trees and willow trees.
We got lucky with a perfect shaft of light falling on the pink and white trees at the bottom of the garden. When they sat under them the falling leaves made everything so magical! There were so many spots where the flowers had just started to bloom and tall grasses popped up from all the rain we’ve been having lately. The blooms were so wonderful to work with and made a fabulous backdrop for Samantha’s stunning and sparkly engagement ring. For the second part of their session, we went out to the main park to the willow trees to catch the last bit of glowy sunset light. The outfits they picked out were perfect and the colors they picked really make them pop off the background!
They were both such a joy to work with. They were incredibly sweet together as we strolled through the gardens and Samantha’s laughs were all very genuine as Brian was telling her funny inside jokes throughout their session. We loved hearing a bit more about their plans for their wedding and learning more about the two of them.
After shooting their session and having a chance to get to know them a little bit better, we are so excited for their wedding in Sunol later this year.
