Alisia & Jeremy’s Wedding at the Shadelands Ranch Museum

What can I say about Alisia and Jeremy? They are just the sweetest couple! Their wedding was a gorgeous sunshine-filled day filled with friends, family and romance. Every part of their wedding day had a special meaning for the two of them and they really personalized their day to their love story and their life together.

They were married at the Shadelands Historic Ranch Museum in Walnut Creek under a canopy of trees surrounded by all their friends and family. One of my favorite parts of the day was when Alisia walked down the aisle with both of her parents to a lovely and haunting rendition of “La Vie En Rose.” The look on Jeremy’s face as she walked towards him said it all.

Their wedding was a decade in the making. The two of them originally met while working as lifeguards in high school. They fell in love and have intertwined their lives ever since. They decided to get ready at their house which they have been putting so much love and work into so getting ready there was extra special!

Once they said their vows and were officially married, they started their party off with a Mariachi band to entertain their guests! It was absolutely wonderful and a really fun way to start the festivities. While the mariachis performed, Alisia danced with her grandfather who had just turned 90. She and Jeremy also shared a sweet first dance in the sunshine.

There were so many other little details that honored family and their lives together. A few of my favorites were her special rings and jewelry that was passed down to her or given to her by family members. Alisia even had her late grandmother’s rosary tied around her bouquet. Jeremy and his groomsmen had a special moment while they were getting ready where they all cheered at the bar his grandfather had helped build. At the end of the night, they even had a special vintage getaway VW van!

It was such an honor to be there to capture this wonderful day and such a wonderful bride and groom. We are so happy for them and so excited for them to take the next step in their lives together!
