Karla & Ellery’s wedding at the Gardens at Heather Farm was a total fairy tale. The roses were in full bloom, the mariachis were playing and they were surrounded by friends and family from all over the country when they tied the knot.
We loved these two and all the love and care that they put into their day. It was rustic with a touch of romance that was all them! They began their day with a sweet first look beneath an avenue of trees in the garden. One of the things I love most about this venue is how many gorgeous little nooks there are all around the garden. We definitely tried to squeeze in as many different spaces and looks as possible during their romantic portraits and bridal party portraits. One of my favorite spots is actually just right outside the garden. You would never know that there is a field of lavender and an arch covered in grapevines was in the parking lot! But it’s so gorgeous and worked so well for these two! And then there was the rose garden which was epic during golden hour. The roses in the garden were the perfect compliment to the bouquet of roses that Karla made.
One of my favorite moments was photographing Ellery as he watched his wife walking through the rose garden and down the aisle. Also, can I just say that walking down the aisle to a live mariachi band is my new favorite thing? It was absolutely show-stopping! Their party continued in the same vein with nonstop dancing, laughter and a romantic reception under a canopy of twinkle lights. Their whole day was perfection and we loved being part of it. We are so happy for the two of them! Congrats Karla & Ellery!
