A magical proposal in the Berekely hills? Yes, please! Vishnu knew that he wanted to propose to Michaela at the spot where they had their first date. Luckily, there was a small platform on the hillside with epic views! His friends set up the arch and decor for the perfect little picnic scene before these two arrived. The plan had originally been set for Saturday but due to rain, he set the proposal for a day earlier and the sunny views were spectacular!
After Vishnu got down on one knee and she said yes, they popped open a bottle of champagne and enjoyed the view and a picnic. The picnic basket was extra meaningful because it had been used for previous proposals in their friend group. He even incorporated her favorite color (purple) into the flowers and around the arch. One of the sweetest things he said when we were planning the proposal shoot was how excited he was to propose to his best friend. How romantic!
Once they had a chance to enjoy the view, we went to the UCB Botanical gardens to the redwood grove where they got to enjoy their first moments as an engaged couple! We are so excited for these two as they begin their wedding journey!
