Deanna & Joel’s Wedding at the SF Zoo

What a wild- and I do mean WILD wedding at the San Francisco Zoo! Deanna and Joel tied the knot on their 11 year anniversary of being together. They were surrounded by friends, family and of course animals!

These two had the amazing opportunity to feed the giraffes before their ceremony. The zookeepers helped lure the giraffes over with lots of gorgeous greens and these gentle giants soon got bold enough to come right over to Deanna and Joel. At the very end of the feeding, one of the giraffes even leaned over and gave Deanna a kiss! After a romantic first look in the gardens and the encounter with the giraffes, they had their ceremony which took place overlooking the African Savannah area of the zoo. Curious Kudus peeked out from the rocks behind the audience and watched as these two were finally married!

The rest of the evening was filled with laughter, dancing and so many special memories! During their cocktail hour, guests and the wedding party had the chance to ride the old-fashioned carousel. What a unique experience at a wedding! Their reception took place in an epic hall with animal and zoo-inspired details.
