Behind the Lens
I wear many hats as the lead photographer and owner of Nicole Dial Photography; entrepreneur, photographer, editor, writer, and designer. But my favorite part of being a photographer is getting to know each of my clients and creating personalized art that they will have for years to come.
I started my photography journey in 2013 when I started shooting weddings. I love telling stories through my lens and photographing special moments.
Before becoming a photographer, I came from a background as a theatre director, playwright and choreographer. I am still a total theatre nerd and my first date with my husband was at Cal Shakes where we saw “Romeo & Juliet.” Besides being a photographer, I love gardening, martial arts and dance.

What I believe in
Photography, at least for me, has always been about storytelling. I believe that everyone deserves to have beautiful wedding photographs and have their story told. I have built my business based on my ideals of inclusion and diversity and celebrating every BODY. I believe in telling YOUR story because YOU matter and you deserve to feel seen.
