This was such a special session with Andrew, Claudia and their baby boy, Ayaan! Andrew and Claudia were one of our very first couples when we started Nautilus Lens Photography and trusted us to capture their engagement and their three day wedding celebrations. Now that they have a baby, they trusted us again to capture their family portraits celebrating Ayaan’s first birthday! We had so much fun with them during this family session!
We absolutely loved this session because this family is so joyful and full of so much love. They are just so sweet together. We split their session into two different parts so we could photograph a few family portraits and Ayaan’s cake smash then they could get cleaned up and have an extended family portrait session during golden hour. For the morning half of their shoot, we went to the bridge where we captured their engagement session. It was so special to capture their little family growing in the same spot! For their evening session, we were able to include Claudia’s parents and her sister and brother in law in a quick family portrait at her parent’s house and on the Alameda shoreline.
