You would never know that Rachael and Bobby’s session was done at the height of summer. San Francisco fog is notorious for rolling in during the summer and it gave their session at Stow Lake a dreamy and atmospheric vibe. One of the fun things about Stow Lake is that there are so many different little spots for a session and we had the best time picking out a few spots that were perfect for these two. It was especially fun to find spots that were a little bit rock and roll and a little bit glam just like the two of them!
We loved that Bobby brought a vintage guitar- which he used to serenade Rachael during their session. These two are seriously the cutest!! It was extra special that he brought a guitar because music is how they met and such a big part of their love story. They met at a music club, the Catalyst, in Santa Cruz where Bobby’s band was playing and Bobby also currently plays in a 90’s cover band. So amazing!
We had such a blast with them- they are both so funny and so easy going! We loved their vintage and rock and roll vibes that they showed off in their outfits and awesome hairstyles. Before the session, Rachael had her wedding hair and makeup trial done which is the perfect way to try out a wedding look and look totally fabulous for the engagement session!
Their wedding is going to be so much fun and we are so happy for them!
