You couldn’t have asked for a more perfect fall wedding than the one that Max and Christina shared in Half Moon Bay. Their day was filled with friends and family and touching moments between the two of them. They were married at Oceano Hotel and Spa in the charming gatehouse located on the property with views of the ocean. The bride and groom spent the day apart, sharing a first touch- holding hands and talking for a few minutes- before they saw each other at their ceremony. When Max saw Christina as she was walking down the aisle, he had the biggest grin ever!! It was such a great moment to watch and to photograph.
They were inspired by the season they were married in and wanted fall leaves and autumn colors to decorate their wedding arch as well as the bouquets. The red and burned orange colors were especially striking next to the teal on the bridesmaid dresses and the men’s suits. Both the bride and the groom looked absolutely fantastic as well. Christina’s gown was covered in intricate floral and vine patterns that were absolutely gorgeous and she looked like she stepped right out of a fairy tale.
I absolutely loved their day and one of my favorite parts were the romantic formals which we spilt between a sunlit wood and the coast. Usually Half Moon Bay is pretty foggy but they were treated to a gorgeous and vibrant sunset as they walked along the beach. What a way to celebrate their first hour of being married!
Their reception was an absolute blast! The two of them brought along giant cutouts of their dog that they rocked as they did a grand entrance into the reception. From the moment the reception started, it was a rocking party with non-stop dancing and friends and family having a great time. They even brought out a s’mores station later in the evening and they ended their party with a bubble exit. So much fun!!
We loved being part of this romantic and whimsical day and we wish these two all the best. Congrats!!
