Anna & Sean’s Wedding at Fairview Crystal Springs in Burlingame

No amount of rain and gloomy weather could dull this wonderful wedding at Fairview Crystal Springs. And what a wedding it was! Anna and Sean had an incredibly romantic day. After Sean proposed last year right after Thanksgiving, Anna and Sean knew that they wanted their wedding at that same time.

There was a break in the rain and we chanced doing their first look outside and we’re so glad it worked out because it was EPIC! Sean waited for his bride at the end of the path with his back turned on a rain-soaked cliff overlooking a reservoir as Anna walked towards him. Besides having a private moment together before their wedding ceremony, Anna had an extra special surprise for him. She had written and recorded a special song and sent it to us ahead of time. As he turned to see her walking towards him, we played her song on a speaker. She poured all her love and excitement for their wedding and their future into her song and none of us had dry eyes after that first look.

Even though it was freezing on the hills, Anna and Sean did their romantic formals as their venue was moving everything inside for their ceremony. Poor Anna was freezing but she powered through it! What you don’t see in these pictures is the bridal party huddled together between shots and huddling around Anna to keep her warm! One of her bridesmaids even lent Anna her emerald green scarf as a wrap.

Then it was time for their ceremony. They had fall leaves strewn down their aisle and glass pumpkins and gorgeous florals decorating their ceremony area. One of Anna’s brothers walked her down the aisle while another one of her brothers played the violin. They had a sweet ceremony and added a fun wine ceremony. They picked out a bottle of wine with two glasses and put them in a special box. During their ceremony, they sealed their vows as well as letters they had written to one another separately and placed them in the box. They will reopen the box during their first wedding anniversary. What a lovely tradition!

The rest of the night was filled with lots of laughter and dancing. Instead of a cake, they picked out a special cheesecake and had it topped with two adorable llama figurines in hats. We absolutely loved working with these two and we are so happy for them. They are truly the perfect match for one another. Congrats Anna & Sean!
